I want to change the belief that mothers and fathers can do it all on their own.
I am passionate about giving postpartum mental health all the importance it deserves.

Dear future client,

I am glad you found me here today.  I remember much too well the days I was struggling as a new mom with the challenging reality of taking care of my baby while at the same time fighting to recover from my postpartum mood illness.  A hundred lights went off when I realized, the moment I got my diagnosis, that I could help other parents like you to experience a smoother postpartum transition if dealing with a mental health disorder or simply finding it hard to cope.  I see you.  I know that you want to be the best parent possible for your baby and how hard it is. And I understand the challenges you face, like overwhelming emotions, anxiety, loneliness or more, because I have been there too.  Over the past 10 years I have been learning a lot about the postpartum transition and the challenges that can come with it to help parents like you to live an easier postpartum period.  Understanding your experience is the reason I offer my services as a postpartum consultant and why I offer different workshops to share my practical knowledge with you.

Here is how it works.  Once you hire me for postpartum support I promise I will lessen your burden and be the best supportive companion you need. Or once you participate to one of my workshops, I know you will be better equipped to navigate your new postpartum reality. And these are the reasons I get to work with passion in my heart.

You can request a free consult with me to discuss my services and/or register for my workshops.

If you have any questions, you can contact me any time.

Best wishes,

Geneviève Desrochers
